ICFAI Hyderabad launches School of Social Sciences

We are delighted to share with you an important news about ICFAI Business School. ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad recently launched the School of Social Sciences (ICFAI) on March 23, 2023.

ICFAI Chancellor Dr. C Rangarajan recently delivered the inaugural address via digital medium. He said that presence of multidisciplinary education will not compromise the teaching of various other disciplines. In the new school of Social Sciences, the subjects will be taught in proper manner.

He mentioned that the department here, has 23 faculty members. All these faculty hold a doctorate degree in Economics. They focus on high quality teaching, field action project and research.

ICFAI Business School Hyderabad, professor Mahendra Dev said that the new school will focus on sustainable development goals, social innovation, startups and circular economy. Disciplines like sociology, psychology and political science will also be included in the new school.

Other professors said that social science education will give a broad understanding and knowledge to the aspiring students on culture, behaviour, society, social justice, etc. The new school of social science will promote understanding of diversity and culture and foster national integration and constitutional values.
